Welcome to Perth Equine Vets…
Perth Equine Vets is an independent horse-only veterinary practice with a personal touch. The practice has been created for horse owners, and horse owners only – meaning your horse will get the bespoke veterinary care they deserve.
Founder and principal veterinary surgeon, Camilla Church (né Ramsøy) has been in a veterinary surgeon in Perthshire for over five years. Being a horse-owner herself, Camilla understands how important horses are to their owners, and how specialised the veterinary care has to be as a result.
The practice is ambulatory, meaning that the practice comes to you, with the state-of-the-art, portable diagnostic equipment, such as the digital x-ray system, ultrasound and endoscope. A registered veterinary nurse attends when required also. We perform all routine services: vaccinations, vettings, dental examinations, lameness work ups, wound care etc. We cover our own emergency service, so you can rest assured that if your horse required to be seen in, or out of hours, as an emergency you would always get a dedicated equine vet.
We have an affordable health plan, which allows you to pay your horse’s routine preventative health care with small direct debit payments on a monthly basis. This will help save the owner money long term too. Perth Equine Vets knows how expensive horses are, so we have introduced a monthly free visit scheme to certain areas where owners can take advantage of not having to pay for a visit. This allows owner to access veterinary care sooner than what they might have otherwise, so we can improve the horses’ welfare together.
